About the Event
The YCMI International Symposium 2026 brings together leading voices from the Iranian diaspora across North America and Europe to engage in thoughtful, evidence-based discussions on constitutional development, democratic governance, and Iran’s future.
Designed as a professional academic forum, the symposium encourages respectful dialogue among scholars, practitioners, journalists, legal experts, public intellectuals, and representatives of civil society. Rather than promoting a single political perspective, the event provides a platform for exchanging ideas, examining different constitutional models, and identifying practical approaches to democratic transition.
Participants will take part in four moderated plenary panel discussions addressing some of the most significant constitutional and governance questions facing Iran today. All sessions are conducted in a professional and respectful environment that values diversity of opinion, critical thinking, and constructive dialogue.
The symposium also seeks to promote knowledge creation, strengthen scholarly collaboration, and contribute to future research, public policy, and constitutional studies. Four Plenary Panel Discussions
